Aya Shu-Ya JIANG/
Composer, Orchestrator, Music-Sound designer and Teacher

Composer, orchestrator and sound designer Shu-Ya JIANG(Taiwan) creates multi-disciplinary immersive events, concerts, animation film score and festival experiences. She is good at composing music and orchestrating with different musical materials to create enriched layer effects, combining with exquisite sound design and well-organized structures.

She received Master degree of Music composition from Taipei National University of the Arts, and she has received Audience Selected Award from The National Taiwan Symphonic Orchestra Competition, 2nd Award from Taiwan Choral Association Competition, and won the TNUA Emerging Young Artists. She is selected in France-Taiwan Acousmatic Music Competition Concert, New York City Electroacoustic Music Festival; “Nong Project” Music Festival in South Korea. The animation scoring, “SPARROW”, directed by Waku Huang has received 2nd Award form Youth Film Festival and selected in the Seoul International Cartoon Animation Festival.

JIANG was a student film-score juror in Kuandu International Animation Festival; arranging the NSO “Dear Little Ones – Papa Haydn” Haydn Symphony for ensemble; composing the Musical “Love Life!” and “Start and Keep Moving”(commission of TCSSH). She is a composer, orchestrator and music-sound designer, principal planning executive and musical theory editor now.

Her composition has been recently performed in the New York City Electroacoustic Music Festival, National Recital Hall, National Taichung Theater-Black Box, National Centre for the Performing Arts (Beijing, China), Beijing Biking Café, Beijing Philharmonic Art Salon, Nantong Jing Theater, Shanghai En-Pa 724 Space, Taichung City Seaport Art Center, Taipei Fringe Festival, Hualien Ocean Festival x Life, Huashan 1914 Creative Park, Taipei Riverside live house, Ximen Red House, Tiger Mountain, Treasure Hill Artist Village, Legacy Mini, Chi-An Chinghisu Temple and Yongchun Tang Art gallery.
